The Healing Chapter exists because healing is possible. Because restoration is real. And because no one should have to walk through this kind of pain without support, community, and the hope that comes from knowing God's grace reaches even here.

Meet the Author

Wife to Mark, mom to three children, and bonus mom to four more, Laura Johnson enjoys music, athletics, good food, and outdoor activities, and does her best to daily love and impact the people placed in her life.

Though she grew up a conservative Christian and attended Christian school from Kindergarten through college, her past is a mixture of great pain and a beautiful reminder of the way Christ creates beauty from ashes.

Laura holds a Bachelors in History Education and a Master’s in Counseling to help others as they recognize their beauty in the brokenness.
